Membership & Services

What benefits replace the historical AWISA model?
  • Development of future trade and showcase initiatives
  • National advocacy aligned across manufacturers and suppliers
  • Brand exposure through Connect Magazine and ACFA digital channels
  • Access to industry updates and regulatory developments impacting the sector
  • Participation in industry events and engagement opportunities

Specific initiatives will be developed progressively and communicated as confirmed.

Will the AWISA brand continue?

AWISA’s legacy, particularly its exhibition history, will be preserved within ACFA’s trade and supplier strategy.

What happens after the ACFA complimentary membership?

The supplier membership is being offered on a complimentary basis to support a smooth transition.

Prior to renewal, ACFA will communicate the future membership structure and fees, allowing businesses to assess ongoing participation.

Does supplier membership include workplace relations advice?

Supplier members have access to the workplace resources available within the ACFA Member Portal, including templates and regulatory updates relevant to the industry.

Access to ACFA’s direct one-on-one workplace advisory service is tied to specific employer membership categories and is not included within the supplier membership category.

If a supplier business wishes to explore expanded service access, membership options can be discussed.

Trade Show & Events

Will the AWISA trade show return?

Yes, ACFA is currently reviewing future trade and showcase models to ensure long-term commercial sustainability and industry relevance.

When will the first supplier event occur?

A strategic update will be provided during the initial supplier briefing session scheduled for Friday 20 March at 12:30 AEDT. An invitation link will be included in the introductory email communication.

Commercial Value

Can suppliers advertise in Connect Magazine?

Yes. Advertising and sponsored content opportunities are available in Connect Magazine and across ACFA communication channels under standard commercial arrangements

Will there be industry data available?

ACFA will consult with supplier members during the complimentary year to assess demand for additional services such as structured industry reporting or market insights.

Governance & Administration

I am already an ACFA member. What happens now?

Existing ACFA supplier members will receive a 12-month extension to their current membership period as part of the integration process.

Do I need to reapply?

No. A streamlined onboarding process will be provided. A full reapplication is not required.

How will my data be handled?

All business information will be managed in accordance with Australian privacy legislation and used solely for membership administration and communications.

Governance Representation

Will AWISA have representation within ACFA governance?

Yes. As part of the integration, two former AWISA Board members will join the ACFA Board:

  • David Noakes, Managing Director – Blum Australia
