David joined the ACFA Board in 2025 as part of the merger with the Australian Woodworking Suppliers Industry Association (AWISA).
David Noakes is a highly experienced business professional with over two decades of leadership across sales, marketing, operations, and executive management. His connection to the industry began at age 7 through his family’s business, Furniture Hardware Supplies, and he formally entered the workforce at 16, building a deep understanding of the sector from the ground up.
David was a founding contributor to the establishment of the AWISA magazine and has actively supported the industry through project roles and leadership involvement with key associations such as the Housing Industry Association (HIA) and the Kitchen & Bathroom Designers Institute (KBDi). His career includes extensive international exposure, having participated in multiple industry tours across Europe, gaining insights into global trends, innovation, and best practices.
Currently serving as Managing Director of Blum Australia, David is recognised for his strategic vision, operational excellence, and commitment to customer-focused growth. His collaborative leadership style and dedication to continuous improvement continue to shape the industry and inspire the next generation of professionals.
